Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Coborn’s, Inc. is committed to being the Greatest Place to Work for all of our team members. Our work in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion space is built on the pillar of inclusion. We believe that when our team members feel and truly are seen, heard, and valued for all of who they are, we create an environment where people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives want to work and thrive.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Our Commitment
Our Chief Executive Officer, Chris Coborn, signed the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion Pledge. Through this, we have pledged to:
- Cultivate an environment that supports open dialogue on complex – and often difficult – conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion
- Implement and expand unconscious bias education and training
- Share best-known diversity, equity and inclusion programs/initiatives (with other organizations)
- Engage our board of directors when developing and evaluating our diversity, equity and inclusion strategies
Employee Resource Groups
We provide a variety of opportunities for our team members to get involved in the organization, share their perspectives, and drive enhancements to our culture and business practices.
Currently, we have 5 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that meet virtually on a regular basis to discuss topics of importance, network, learn, and provide input on our business and culture practices. A member of our company’s senior leadership team serves as a direct sponsor for each ERG.
